WHY WE CHARGE

Insightful Resources strives to serve the community in several ways. Our primary mission and focus is to provide high quality mental health care at an affordable cost. To ensure our vision of providing quality care that is also legal and ethical, we established and continue to maintain a safe physical office for our staff to provide therapy sessions. We also contracted with a Clinical Supervisor to provide oversight and training to our pre-licensed staff and administrative staff to accomplish all necessary business transactions.

Being committed to our staff and clients is a core value at Insightful Resources. This comes with ongoing operational expenses. We therefore need to invest some of our resources into community outreach, marketing, insurance, maintaining our website, payroll, bookkeeping, non-profit compliance, grant writers and ongoing training for our staff. Upfront costs for new initiatives, workshops, registration fees and legal fees not covered by donations, grants, scholarships and investments are then covered by Insightful Resources in the hope that we can continue to not only serve our community but develop and evolve to meet the growing needs of the mental health field. 

Becoming a licensed mental health provider can also be a taxing and expensive journey for a clinician. We are therefore, proud to be able to hire Licensed clinicians who are committed to working for a site that can help them to qualify for loan forgiveness and Associate clinicians who are on their second registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Our employees are paid in compliance with the state of California and allot percentages of their schedule to help provide services to our community partners and allot percentages of their schedules to offer more affordable services, helping to bring our vision of access to fruition. 

Having a reduced fee for service helps to ensure growth, quality and access long term.
